"On the 5th September 2010 we held the 4th American car show at the Museum of Power in Langford Essex.
In our bid to make this charity event all American we hit on the idea of Cheerleaders. After a search on the internet, I was lucky enough
to come across Dance & Cheer 49 and emailed Sian at Wellington College, who at very short notice organised Cheerleaders for us from the Essex area."
"A group of young people duly turned up at the event giving up there Sunday at short notice to do two fantastic performances for us.
They are obviously very dedicated and very professional, they were a real asset to the show."
"We would like to thank Sian for all her help and of course thank you to the Guys and Girls from Boswells school in Chelmsford."
"We very much hope you will join us again for next years show."

"I have used Dance and Cheer 49 on numerous occasions and have been very impressed by the professionalism of the coaches and their energy and enthusiasm while teaching a class. Over the summer holiday I hosted a mums and daughters cheerleading workshop which was incredibly popular. One parent said "I really enjoyed spending time with my daughter while we were both having fun and getting fit. I can't wait to do it again!"" "Isleworth and Syon SSP has worked with Dance and Cheer49 for over two years now and have been delighted by the quality of work and the professionalism of the DC49 staff. The company have run programmes in all of our 40 schools and our students have loved participating in practices and performances.
I have also been incredibly impressed by the versatility of the company running movement programmes at KS1, disability sessions, gymnastics sessions, sessions for adults as well as the Dance and Cheer programme.
They have consistently formed excellent working relationships with the schools they have delivered to.
Sustainability was a key issue for us when we embarked on this partnership. Dance and Cheer 49 have definitely delivered this for us. They set up a Saturday Morning Academy which has proved to be exceptionally popular; a large number of schools have retained their services long after partnership subsidy was no longer available and through their reputation they have attracted additional funding for an increasing number of additional community projects.
All this has made a significant impact towards our 'Five hour offer'."

“We would like to thank Sian for all her help, knowledge and expertise which transformed our Adult Modern Jive Dance Routine to include a number of cheerleading stunts.Sian is extremely talented and very professional, she really helped take our team to the next level and as a result, we became winners at the UK Ceroc Dance Championships in 2009.”

"Since Dance 49 came to Woldingham 4 years ago it has been a huge success, with many girls taking an interest in performing who would never have thought about being on stage before. The club meets every week, where we learn routines from many different styles, which we perform in our annual show. This year the show was entitled “Clue” it was a murder mystery, with the murderer’s identity being searched for throughout the show. The six murder suspects were based on Cluedo characters with their own individual style of dance; Granny Peacock, MC Mustard, Princess Plum, Sister Green (a nun), Miss Rouge, and Miss Off-White (a naughty schoolgirl). The show was a great success with over 50 girls from school dancing and 5 of Dance 49’s boy dancers involved in an energetic pas de deux piece, as policemen in the finale of the show. Emma and Zoe, the dance teachers at Woldingham for the past 2 years, created the whole show choreographing and thinking up the storyline of the piece, they were fantastic. All of us in Dance 49 really enjoyed their lessons, and working with them this year, they made an amazing show which we had great time preparing for. Dance 49 has been popular at Woldingham, offering us; more intense and technical 2-1 classes, street jazz as an option in our P.E. lessons and the fun group dance weekly sessions in preparation for the show. Having Dance 49 has enabled us as a school to make use of our amazing performance facilities by doing the annual shows and also pushed the more talented dancers to higher levels of dance. Dance 49 has made me a better dancer, helping me to get into Performing Arts College for next year and allowed me to be in large scale really enjoyable performances that I have loved being part of."

"We would like to Sian Todd and her team from Dance and Cheer 49 for all they have done for Woldingham School.
Dance at the school has gone from strength to strength in the three years of their involvement here. Our showpiece event each year is the highly acclaimed Dance Display which always plays to a sell-out audience. Other highlights include Dance Masterclasses, Adult Dance classes and Street Jazz workshops.
Our girls love working with Dance and Cheer 49. The enthusiasm, creativity, professionalism and sense of sheer enjoyment of their dancers really shines through – this motivates our girls and provides them with many opportunities to showcase their talents.
Long may our successful relationship with Dance and Cheer 49 continue."
